Pale yellow with golden reflections, this wine has a very limpid color. It has an intense nose of white peach and almonds flowers and a great complexity in the mouth. Grenache blanc brings minerality, viognier aromas of apricot and peach and Marsanne remains more floral. A fresh attack characteristic of Roussanne supports this aromatic complexity by bringing citrus notes and a mineral touch. Very pleasant.

An intense garnet color with ruby reflections forecasts the pleasure this wine will provide. A fruity nose where the blackcurrant and the blueberry are charmingly stimulating the appetite. The powerful mouth brings with it the aromas of blackcurrant which are elegantly supported by notes of incense and the great delicacy of the tannins. It is a wine that can be described as fine, generous and elegant, already pleasant to drink, but which can also be kept for 10 to 20 years.

This wine comes from the first vines planted in the 1970s by my father Roger Marès. It was the first wine he produced on the estate and which made him known. Its deep purple color testifies the richness of this wine. A powerful nose in which scents of oriental spices, cocoa, cherries and Cuban cigar blend elegantly. The original blend of this wine, with both the finesse and roundness of Syrah, reinforced by the structure of Cabernet-Sauvignon, makes it a great wine. We advise you to wait 2 to 5 years before drinking it, and if you patient enough to wait longer, it will reveal its full potential in 10 to 15 years.
Grape varieties: Cabernet-Sauvignon 70%, Syrah 30%.
Terroir: Rolled pebbles from the Rhône.
Vinification: 5-week alcoholic fermentation followed by a short period of ageing in concrete vats before the wine is aged for one year in oak barrels (new and one-wine), during which it carries out its malolactic fermentation.
Food & Wine pairings: This pretty bottle will go wonderfully with your spicy or dishes of character.

Mainly made from our oldest Grenache vine with a yield of 20 hl/ha, this wine expresses what the Grenache and our terroir can do best. An intense garnet color revealing the beauty of our terroir. A nose in which elegantly combines raspberry and spices. Very ripe tannins that make it a powerful and elegant wine with a magnificent length. A large bottle produced in small quantities. It is preferable to wait 3 to 5 years before tasting this bottle, you will be all the more rewarded as it will see the years go by.
